Firebomb Thrown at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem

A firebomb was thrown at Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem on Wednesday night. The bomb partially burst into flames outside the hospital. Miraculously no one was hurt and no damage was caused to the hospital buildings.

Police are uncertain as to what the motive was behind the bomb, but believe the suspected perpetrators to be Muslim Arabs who live nearby. The target is a strange one for Muslims to attack as many Muslim Arabs are patients at the hospital and many also work there.

Pieces of the bomb were handed over to the Division of Identification and Forensic Science (DIFS) to study in the hopes that they would be able to discover some clues that will lead police to a suspect. A full investigation is underway and searches are being conducted around the area to apprehend the culprit or culprits.

In an unrelated incident, Terrorists threw three firebombs at a Jewish bus driving down Highway 60 just south of Karmei Tzur, near the Palestinian city of Halhul. No injuries or damage were reported.
